You sure do know Quebec mining history!.

I was reading a book by Pierre Lassonde written in 1992. In it he states. "Louvicourt is the most important base metal discovery in Canada since Ontario's Kidd Creek in the 1960's".

The mine has not met these lofty expectations, presumably because of the failure to find more ore. Is the upcoming drilling worthy of speculation? The term "3D seismic" suggests that they are not probing here; it suggests that they already know the exact location and probably the size of the anomalies, and need to know only whether they are ore. Perhaps a single drill hole could turn the trick (?). Is it possible that Pierre Lassonde could still prove correct in his pronouncement ? What are the odds ?

(I trust that speculation of this nature is acceptable on this thread.... mining exploration need not be "grass root").
