I just listened to RSTN's mid quarter update. It's available tomorrow and Fri.
They are finding capex flow into metro remainiing strong.
Margins look stable, so far
Expect to make .02 this quarter
Growing about 58% rate

Intrnational about 50% of business
China, Hong Kong, Taiwan about 17%; @ 7% mainland. China is revamping its regulatory structure and they don't expect big growth there it's done; they figure that will take about 6 mos
After 9/11, they lost about 2 weeks selling but underlying business remained stable
US incumbents appear to be increasing activity in metro
Cash flow neutral this 1/4; positive next
They're going to keep their spending near flat the next couple of quarters - proportinate to new biz

The data centre biz looks hopeful. next gen hosting market VPNs, shared data infra structure - moving up the value chain from co-location. Are meeting their targets here but still very small . No data really available for this market yet.

Business with incumbents growing

I only listened once. My numbers are probably right but no guarantees. If a number catches your interest best to listen for it yourself. Over view, guidance and Q&A take about 25 minutes.

Didn't hear any big surprises. In excessive zeal they talked about .30 -.35 earnings in 2003. But I don't take that too seriously - a bit far out in an unsettled world. Wouldn't surprise me, though.
