You are making a big issue about violence in the Koran.
My point is that there is plenty of violence in the Bible.
Also!

You are coming from a point of view (which you say) is attempting to be objective, but really is one of considering your own Path to be the right one, and criticizing the Muslim tradition, questioning its viability etc.

Everybody does the same thing! It is INTOLERANT!

Please don't ask me to start another thread. The discussion here is all over the map.

I have no interest in discussing violence in the Bible, the Koran or any other "holy" book. I am more interested in knowing:

-- what are the core Teachings of the bible?
-- what are the core Teachings of the Koran?
-- SAME THING for any other Path?

Similarities? Differences?

Is there some reason why this would not fit under the banner of UNDERSTANDING ISLAM?
