One suspected as much. Interestingly, I can't say I ever gave it a lot of thought. Don't get me wrong, I had an early interest in politics, and read "Fail Safe" and other things touching on the subject at a young age. I even read a big chunk of Herman Cohen's "On Thermonuclear War" when I was a teenager. I just didn't feel in my bones that it would come to that, so I did not brood on it in a personal way much.......
