I don't have a link, anymore, but did post it several times in 1999. If you want to start paging through the posts on the old AMD and Intel threads starting around August of 1999, you should come up with the link - I know I posted it more than once.

But there's a very good chance the link would no longer be live, and it would take hours to go through all those old posts.

I have a clear recollection of from the slideshow that could be downloaded as a PDF. It included what looked like a catalogue photo of the 193nm stepper they were testing in one slide, and a photomicrograph of a 50nm gate in another slide. Maybe someone else remembers more.

My recollection is that when AMD announced the delay of their .13 process, they said that they had concluded that they needed 193nm steppers to make the move to .13 worthwhile.
