SAN FRANCISCO — Two Northwest Airlines flights from Tokyo were temporarily held away from passenger terminals Wednesday morning after landing in San Francisco and Seattle on fears someone aboard might be carrying anthrax.

It is actually both the long-term and short-term solution.
You are not clear in what you mean by your reply.

Do you mean: we must give of our treasury to foreign countries, whether they act in our interests or not?

Or, do you mean: we must buy oil from M.E. producers even if they pay terrorists who kill our citizens?

Or, what?

I don't see how you can justify me, as a taxpayer, giving my hard-earned dollars to any other government that fails to support my country. Certainly, anyone who threatens or takes violent action against me or my country, I will gladly pay to defend against and defeat.

But ... giving money away just because my government representatives have had payoffs? No, I don't think that's a good idea.

But I'd like to hear why you think so.
