It is actually both the long-term and short-term solution. You are not clear in what you mean by your reply. Do you mean: we must give of our treasury to foreign countries, whether they act in our interests or not? Or, do you mean: we must buy oil from M.E. producers even if they pay terrorists who kill our citizens? Or, what? I don't see how you can justify me, as a taxpayer, giving my hard-earned dollars to any other government that fails to support my country. Certainly, anyone who threatens or takes violent action against me or my country, I will gladly pay to defend against and defeat. But ... giving money away just because my government representatives have had payoffs? No, I don't think that's a good idea. But I'd like to hear why you think so.
