We were just talking about normal/basic construction with no optional costs - just standard issues. The point going back to the original comment, forget already who mentioned it, is that the costs of homes should cycle down to more reasonable levels.

And as you say if a modular home is not code permitted, well its a moot point. However, in my area few are aware of code restrictions on modular homes, manufactured homes-yes, but not modular.
