Tell me something, do you think the accounting at NT was technically correct? (in the quarter prior to their having to take a $19 Billion writedown).

The initial MBA survey classes in accounting are really bookkeeping, while more advanced classes require some insight and a real understanding of Economics. Ultimately, accounting is an act of appraisal, there's quite a bit more to it than mindlessly following the rules of bookkeeping.

So I ask again, do you think the accounting at NT was correct?
