2 significant events: MSFT and bonds: -
1. MSFT - has reached an agreement with the government, at first read, looks like major win for msft, this could be a significant event in terms of tech stocks coming back into focus. or not
2. bonds - i realize that not many follow bonds here, but today's (wednesday"s) HUGER move in the 30 year bond and all maturities of treasuries, on top of the almost 18 month bull run in bonds, is an incredible event. the 30 year bond went up 5% today, from 1020 per bond to 1070. this dropped the yield from a 5.20% to a 4.86% yield - for 30 years. as i said earlier, moves of this magnitude often occur at reflection points in a move. i think the bond move is over, there might be a little more upside in price (downside in yield), but this is it. larry
