Without declaring martial law, there's no way to curtail free speech. And the folks expressing the stuff viewed on CSPAN? Many folks don't have cable, esp the poor.... so they're preaching to..... capitalists. That's more like crying "Fire!" in a firehouse. And words & deeds often differ. Based on damage done so far, I'm more worried about Aryan yayhoos than Black Panthers.

I would urge anyone having a problem with this type of garbage programming to email the CEO of your cable provider and clearly spell out your concerns. C-Span is sponsored by cable industry, so, you are paying for it. Also, let C-Span know directly your thoughts ... they are open minded and would surely want to know your reaction. c-span.org Further, let your local pols know exactly what you think of the FCC permitting those spewing hateful venom to come into our homes. Encourage them to express their feelings on this programming publicly and remind them that come reelection time you will be at the polls bright and early. Speak up .... this is America, remember ?
