Turns represent a problem since rate of change goes flat combining downward with upward movement at the inflection point that forms the hump in a signalLine.

One solution combines rate of change of the first point that turns up with other points further back in history where the signalLine was also moving up… instead of a series that mixes upward with downward movement.

I haven’t worked out the math or programming … and many details depend on feedback from initial results but I've a solid theory about how to procede even though I haven’t expressed it completely here.

An associate obsessed with predictors shot down my idea saying he’d considered it once and dismissed it. He went on to explain what I should be looking at but I’ve tossed his idea aside and am going forward as planned because it’s the only way that makes sense to me. Fortunately I can reference his notes if I need them but it seemed we were talking the same thing just visualizing it differently.
