The Clinton team did pretty good on the battlefront. You don't see Hati or Bosnia threating us years after the missions. Compare that to the Bush league conflicts in Iraq and Afganistan. Albright in particular counseled that the U.S. had to finish the fights it got into even if that required having our troops on the ground for several years of the messy cleaup after the headlines. Bush Sr. couldn't wait to get home to his parades. Junior can't wait to go sit on his log in Crawford.
