isopatch, I come though Border Patrol check sites at various locations almost weekly, and I would say that security has increased. If you remember, before the 1996 election, Mssr. Clinton allowed almost 2,000,000 immigrants into the US with out checking their backgrounds primarily in order to pack voter rolls in key states.

I'd go back and check their backgrounds a little more closely. We also might round up folks here in country with expired visas. A good starting point would be every academic institution for e.g., should require proof of a current visa in order to enroll- separate the wheat from the chaff....

Also don't forget that this weekend that Christians in the US focus prayer on the persecuted churches around the world, which includes the majority of Muslim countries in the world save maybe Oman and the Emirates. I mention the massacres of Christians in the recent past in Egypt at El Kosheh. Go to this site and put "el kosheh" in the search engine.

Pray both for those persecuted and the persecutors too that they might find faith in a forgiving Father....
