As I'm neither long nor short here, I am enjoying the analysis. I'd like to see some real facts rather than words like "fraud" or "lies" bandied around.

Legitimate areas of investigation are how easy their product is to duplicate, how accurate it is, how much revenue they actually get after all licenses, projections to bottom line. Competition, or lack thereof, is very important.

Stupid areas that don't shed real light, IMO, are the name calling and also the issue of privacy. Although it might have made for some good debate before 9/11, I don't think that argument holds water and I doubt those who are posting would prevent any technology that works from being used on the grounds of "privacy."

The terrorists didn't care about your privacy and they don't care about your civil rights. We need to give up some of those rights, even if we really had the right not to be photographed, which I doubt. Remember, dead men and societies don't have civil rights.
