I thought they reported at least three Ranger injuries, plus there were the two guys supporting the operation killed in that helicopter accident. That's hardly "without a scratch".

How many journalists could drop out of the sky in a parachute and keep up with the Rangers, SAS or Delta Force without being a liability? None that I know of. They already have journalists on the Northern Alliance front line and in various locations in Afghanistan.
