wbmw,

And that's the difference between hardware enthusiasts and the rest of the world. Most people can't tolerate instabilities, which is why they go with an Intel based system. The best choice is an Intel CPU, along with Intel chipset, motherboard, and networking.

I think you missed Constantine's point. His point is that otherwise rock solid motherboard can become unstable if you tweak the memory settings aggressively. It was not AMD vs. Intel.

Wanna, you missed my point. An OEM can weed out from the BIOS any settings that cause instability.

You can't extrapolate from one data point. There was a different review posted here earlier this week that said the Athlons they tested were rock solid but the P4s had glitches in some of the benchmarks.

The Amdroids didn't kick up a big fuss because it was obviously a configuration problem. You Intellabees seem to be a bit tense recently.

Then why in the world do they use Microsoft operating systems??? *grin*

With the plethora of stability issues exhibited by Intel processors and motherboards in the past year or so, your statement above is a joke and shows just how biased you really are.

(Personally, I still appreciate your posts though, as they are usually very well argued).
