Standard of living....the Scandanavian countries have at least equal if not a better SOL than us. Freedom of speech....most western democracies have the same. Beautiful land.....ditto at least in their eyes .. Generous tolerant people....we ain't that tolerant in many areas...generous we are but so are others... Our scientists are the smartest....that's kind of funny, you realize how many of our scientists are foreigner's? And btw, how did we get so many great scientists from this education system you guys say is so crummy.?? Captitalism allows betterment.....so does their capitalism. There are areas we are woefully behind, ie life expectancy, infant mortality, breast cancer rates, prostate cancer rates (particularly in black men) But to answer you final question .....no, I don't think there is a better place to live. Why? Because I was born and raised here and it is my home.....
