>>I'm not sure that FoxNews meets my standard of "newsworthy"; then again, neither does the National Enquirer.<<

Oh, I see. You prefer a different brand of spin. What brand? ABC? CBS? NBC? CNN?

At any rate, you are entitled to your opinion, too. As are Asi, Shabazz, and the Black Panthers.

My point was simply this .... if this were WW2, I would not want my cable company < my $$ > supporting the piping of Nazi sympathizers and their hate into my child's living room.

completely disagree...this ain't the Muppets.

Please remember that these very folks you do not want to see on CSPAN are also paying their cable company to broadcast your views 23 hours a day. Funny how that "voice of the minority" thing works out (which brings to mind the NRA...they're often on CSPAN...). And I despise the KKK but I absolutely stand by their right to obtain parade permits (the NRA too<g>). Someday I may want to have my own parade or TV presentation of a kooky idea.

I think it is important to reveal all aspects of American life -- to do otherwise is to live a lie. Personally, I think this group probably did more to harm themselves than to forward their cause the other day; it's interesting listening to the buzz around the country over this. This openness permits our society to dynamically respond and not be simply brittle and then break. This is a healthy thing and is vastly contrary to the governments in the Middle East which provide little flexibility in their social and governmental responses to minority positions.

JB, you said:

You're shocked that there are those who undermine our government and the safety of Americans at every turn ?

I'm not !

....and I wondered WHY it isn't shocking to you that there are those in America who are trying to undermine the country ??? Did you mean internal or external individuals?

If they are internal, WHY don't they leave and go to another country if they don't like it here...

If they are external....well, President Bush said it correctly: You are either with us, or you are with the terrorists....
