Henry, the KLIC love fest yesterday seemed like p&d to me, so I sold my whole LT position. I believe the company will do well eventually, but as of now estimates for next year are still negative numbers.

Henry, if one were cynical about analysts (not sure if it applies to anyone on this thread <g>) one could say that they might be trying to hold the group up long enough to get their firm's clients out before the drop. I don't think any sell side analyst has the best interests of the small investor at heart.

HI Henry,

I'm backed up there too - pretty darn lonely.ggg

I'm hoping for one more gift, but it's looking like Mr Market is taking a forward looking view.Let's face it rates are cheap and there is a lot of money out there looking to go to work.

I don't doubt that we'll have a huge lag in durable goods sales after we get weaned from 0.0 interest rates in November.More unemployment yada yada yada.

IF we get another substantial dip in this year - it will be a gift.I'll not be looking for new lows - I'll be jumping on about a point above the previous lows. Some of them won't be seen that's for sure.

Remember in 98,the last quaretr was expected to be bad and it was. However backlog grew.By the time the backlogs were confirmed - price of the stocks were already up 25 % to 30%.

My last purchases were on September 24th.I'm long and strong with a modest overall gains on my dip buying which started last September in 2000.

I'd love to nail a retest and load up on the blue chips : Intc, and Amat for the first fast breakouts.

Hey a guys gotta have a dream.

Bob
