TigerPaw, you are not reading my post or you don't know what happened. My statement was that there was a complete machine recount of the entire state of Florida per Florida law. The original count was within 1/2% and there was a MANDATORY recount, which George Bush won. This is true, and if you didn't know it, you do now. My question was: Once the machine recount was completed, what gave Gore the right to go further? Do you know? It has never made sense to me, and that is the time that Gore imo showed he will go to any length to overturn the election. Get your facts straight if you want to debate.
