"I am still waiting for you to give me 1 country in this whole big world you think is better, on balance"

You still don't get it, do you? I have seen and met enough people from all over the world to know that there are many counties as desirable to live in as the USA. I, however, was born American, my family and children are in America and I plan to stay in America. You'll notice I didn't hyphenate. If need be though, I believe I could be as satisfied in any western European nation plus Scandinavia. I love European cuisine, wines, and their laid back life style. Their pizza sucks and I don't like soccer very much. Every year or so we get the urge to visit and we do. I think Australia and New Zealand would also be suitable although I have never visited either. But to assuage you concerns, I have no intention to leave....I'm an American, I like my home, I like our culture but still prefer ethnic food. I don't like our loose gun laws and I think European nations have fewer bible thumpers(a plus in my view).

Now what experience do you or did you have that says the US is better than anywhere else?
