I did not say business is not interested in the state of the economy but rather that it is the business of business to maximize profits and that is as it should be. Consumers can not spend us to prosperity because they have limited ability to spend. Business should not be expected to spend on expansion when sales are sluggish... I do not have to prove what is obviously happening now. In fact business is not only not expanding investment but rather cutting down..

The principles of economics are validated by facts. It might be helpful to study economics but you are welcome to disagree.
