Nope, that wasn't an invitation to leave (like I could issue one here anyway), just wondering what your message was. Are you in the same camp as a few others here, the "America, love it my way or leave it" group? I've been arguing around SI since 9-11 that the attack on this country was an attack on all its citizens, Moslem and Jew, liberal and conservative. As a liberal, it pains me to read pieces like that, as they seem divisive and unresponsive to the pain and anguish that we're all feeling. I mentioned in a post to LindyBill here the other day that I believe that what is deemed 'politically correct" was changed indelibly that day. I think many of us who spent our tender years in the shadow of the Viet Nam war, and who came of age believing that war is wrong have had a profound change of heart in the past seven weeks. And will continue to change as this war progresses. PS: Be careful not to use the pig-fat soap while showering, please. -g
