I don't mind paying taxes for defense of the country. I can only base my opinion on what the Republicans and Democrats HAVE done, not on what you THINK will be done. I don't have a crystal ball into the future like you seem to think you have. I am now taxed less than I was when Slick Willy was president. BTW, I think that the tax reductions on big business should be tied to creating jobs here in the US. We do still have a Democratic senate, so I'm sure the bill will change a lot before being passed. I actually like having the mix of a Democratic senate and a Republican house. That way, we should get a balanced bill. Hopefully, one that Bush will sign.
