HG: Actually my job "IS" to create trouble for people who continously take advnatage of our legal system of justice! I am just an old timer who has seen many many things in this world, and yet whenever I see people exploiting others it hurts and it comes as if I have seen it for the very first time.

HG, soroush is probably Addi... and yes, I have already asked SI to block him from posting on this thread... if only he can behave like a gentleman and stop posting here on his own... people who want to read his misrepresentations and defamatory twisted comments can go to the thread he created... now, as far as the recent contribution of Arabs/Muslims... lets see, does the name Osama Albaz ring any bell ? do you know the name of the best heart doctor in London ? there are many, many Muslims and Arabs who are contributing TODAY... your statement was totally wrong... Muslims and Arabs have contributed in the past, far and near, and still are contributing TODAY... some people are unable to accept that and keep twisting and arguing even about history or simply making blanket statements like yourself... you call my comment on your displayed lack of knowledge of history and my referring you to HRH Prince Charles, Carly Firoina, and Yousuf Islam (Cat Stephens) a cheap shot...! that is very interesting.... then you come around and say, well, not in the past... but now... make no mistake, Arabs and Muslims have contributed, and will always contribute to the advancement of life... if you or others are unable to see it, that does not change the fact... finally, I stated in the original post of the thread that it is to serve as a resource for information for people who want to find out about Islam from reliable sources... which part of that statement you do not understand...? I wish not to waste precious time on answering to accusations and misrepresentations... that's why I blocked Addi and others who seem to have a lot of time on their hands to post defamatory posts and links of misrepresentations and twisted translations and taking verses of the Holy Qur’an out of context... YES, it's a free country and everyone has the right to voice their opinion... however, I reserve the right as well not to engage in what has proved to me to be a waste of time with certain individuals... that is why they are blocked here... they can post all they want, where ever they want, but not here... I simply do not have the time, energy, nor do I wish or like to go off on a tangent and forget the main purpose of this thread... which is to provide reliable sources about Islam… and Islam, as a religion and a message from Allah swt, should not be painted by the actions of Muslims… that is why we need to look at the source before we judge it… if we are judging the people, then it is a different story… whether you continue to post here or not, is up to you really... but you will have to keep in mind what this thread is about... again, I do not, and will not engage in arguments that do not serve that purpose... I SIMPLY HAVEN'T got the time nor the energy or desire for that... regards amein
