Yeah 92 cents.

Bought CSCO at 16 plus sold Nov 15 call $2 = net cost $14.00

Sold CSCO at 18.42 less bought call back 3.50 = net proceed $14.92

Less $5 commission for stock trade plus $25 commission for option trade. Times 2. Or $60

Really only is commission cost effective when you are doing minimum of 500 shares, really should be 1000 shares and 10 calls.

So I figure I got the best part out of that trades potential profits. Max gain was $1 less commissions anyway. I'll take the 92 cents and look for another covered call trade that has some Time value left for the next two weeks.

I'm thinking about the BEAS 12.50's which have about 60 cents left. Or the CIEN 15's which have about $1 left. Or the VTSS 10's which have about 50 cents left. Or even CSCO again if it just happens to drop back to around mid 16 and the price of the calls makes sense for a trade.
