Ad, I am curious. You were an observer of the "fights" that occurred on this thread when I got folks talking about nukes and if and when to use them. What got nuked is the amat thread and i regret that. Now we have 3 inactive threads. I have maintained that the robust amat thread that existed succeeded because bright people of all political stripes argued about amat, the market and politics. In many ways the amat thread reminded me of Hyde Park in London with all the speeches and arguments going on 7X24. It was a beautiful thing. Now one guy posts news on one thread;we have a dead OT thread and this one that has apparently lost some of its best posters due to lack of contentiousness. Am i seeing things correctly in your opinion? mike
