If what you say is true, then why was Boy George so eager to earmark the so-called "budget surplus" his first few months in office to benefit the wealthiest of the wealthy? In retrospect, wasn't that imprudent ... if he saw the recession coming?! Also, does Laura run a "Hoover" when she vacuums up the Oval Office after a big party with large corporate contributors?
