Monsieur, Kodiakbull!!!!!!!

Non, non, non!

I do not drink red wine in the afternoon. And, as I have often opined, to your consternation, I drink mostly white wines. However, when I do drink a red, it is usually a "good" red that I have previously spent only pious amounts of money on but, that are now, coveted somewhat.

Furthermore, the "water biscuit" remark is highly offensive (ggg). Everyone knows that the water biscuit is meant for Stilton cheese on top of a smear of creamery butter accompanied by a Vintage Port. It is not for nibbling with, just, a 'red wine'.

Your choices of wine are merited in that they are truly economical and quite drinkable. I have enjoyed many myself and can attest to their worthiness. However, the same can be said for other, more pricey ones. They aren't extravagant, merely better.

I buy and drink value, myself, but, I deplete the cellar when it is called for.
Call it taking long term capital gains without sending in a check. (BTW, I refuse to sell them. Bought 'em, right. Drink 'em cheap!)

You and I and Michel de Montaigne agree about wine. If I can find Montaigne's aomments on the web some time I may post them:

Couldn't help myself. Had to buy some near term puts on MU, AMAT, KLAC, and a few others. Will buy more next week if they continue to climb. Warnings season not that far off.

Sure am glad I bought Enron options rather than stock! Folks who bought stock at the same time lost twice as much as I did.
