As a matter of fact, since I happen to be a professional trader too, I am going to start shorting it. Just at the short-term tops. I'm good, I can do it. I figure you cost my business about ten grand, so that's how much I plan on taking back from the fools that own your stock. I'm telling all my friends, too. Right here on the Internet.
If you would care to post your AOL ss trades I would be happy to join you in this endeavor. I have my own history with their "help" desk and can think of no more deserving company to be sold short.

regards,
RL

TLC,
Hmmm, I thought "Roadrunner" was a cartoon character !!!
Please visit the online store at AOL.com for a nice selection of cookies that can be shipped to your home via Fedex. Also, why do you think I care about your problems? I've got a nut farm in Hawaii to run and can't find enough pickers. Next time you open a macademia nut jar think of me out here sweating in the sun pickin up nuts.

Could I paraphrase and send Bill Gates a similar open letter.

Windows ME has cost me both time and money. They should pay me to install XP instead of charging me an extra $100 for a more stable (?) OS.

Moreover, AOL financial statement is a wonder of "creativity" ...

TLC -- In your honor, I will terminate my son's subscription to AOL (we have MSN, AOL, and Verizon DSL, so what the hey). I never liked AOL anyway.

Take that, Mr. Case.

TLC-- Damn man I find you everywhere. I hold a tiny amt of AOL from long ago-- never would touch their crappy dial-up though. Possibly it is OK for kids and those too lazy to think about a real ISP. Still, I find Netscape COMMUNICATOR 4.78 to be fantastic,,, the new one is slower and the 1st upgrade I passed on after trying. Many years ago I went on-line with a business acct from IBM Global. It was later sold to ATT. The greatest dialup ever and I was grandfathered in,,,,, but fell for the additional speed of RR. After 6 weeks I cancelled ATT Global which was a huge mistake. I heard from a frien across country about rr going down for hours at a time with the 'virus' excuse. Should they not be overprotected? Then on a Fri eve rr goes down and service was called. A problem with my computerS! All at the same time and their own software points to them having a problem not me. They were called again as people for blocks around were down... they were working on it,, what a friggin joke! Sun AM I told service if they were not up prior to the mkt opening to come haul their shit away as I was going back to a dial up... at 10:15 they were up,,, I was up at 8:00,, all 'puters running on phone lines. My guess is it was either a bad server or switch/router. Told them that Fri! They must have been too damn cheap to pay someone to work on the weekend and Mon he came in found a server needed replaced or a router needed replaced,, an hour plus a coffee break and things were up and running,,, rr has been totally removed from all my boxes.
I have talked my sister into trying a DSL line and my brother into a dish,,, I'll move on to which ever works out best,, in the mean time I have nothing good to say about rr except they have the best LACK of service of any company I know.

quasi similar story - very quasi....get a call from ATT Broadband offering a great deal on cable modem service, at 1/3 cost of the dsl I have. They say it is always on, always fast, I explain to them that cable modem is shared, so speed depends on lots of stuff, they say no it is always fast, I say please mail me information on the offer, they say they cannot. I say bite my kimchee.

What's a gateway address and what does it do? and what does AOL have to do with RR? TIA I also have RR, but I've had no problems so far, it's been about a year or so... one time their modem went out, but they came and replaced it and credited my account for the down time.....
