Comb:Even so, AMD is not projecting a whole lot out of their 0.13 micron bulk process, the only speeds mentioned are 1.733GHz and 1.8GHz.

Overclockers are reaching these speeds on 0.18 micron with high-end air. If AMD has been conservative on projected speeds, I think it more for competitive reasons than anything else.

Combjelly, Re: "AMD is not projecting a whole lot out of their 0.13 micron bulk process, the only speeds mentioned are 1.733GHz and 1.8GHz."

Thanks. I hadn't heard this, yet. Do you have a source from which you learned this?
