Milo
just because Ten works for Intel does not necessarily imply that he should be defensive about the company
Makes all the answers very predictable

Milo, Hypertransport is a great technology, but by AMD's own doing, it will never be more than a chip-to-chip interconnect for companies not interested in making their own proprietary interconnect. PCI-SIG, by AMD's own vote, will pursue 3GIO instead.

Keep your fantasies of AMD taking over the world with Hypertransport in your own head.

Milo, for your sake, I hope this thread achieves its goal of "information purification."

Until then, I leave you with this: My prediction of Sledgehammer's cancellation still stands. See Message 15376351

Re: "Just look at the latest PR from Intel you referenced about accounting changes."

THERE WAS NO PR from Intel on accounting changes !!

Intel noted - in their standard SEC 10K filing that they would change their accounting - in accordance with revised GAAP procedures.

Then some analyst read the 10K and extracted that section and made a public press release - NOT INTEL.

Can't you Droids get any facts straight?
