Skeeter, I'm not going to condone what Rambus alledgedly did. One point, however, have you ever sat on a standards body? All companies want the standard to closely reflect their R&D and IP efforts. While slinging mud at Rambus, what about the Infineon execs who basically lied when they stated that they never heard of Rambus, however there was a presentation on one of their harddrives back in the early 90s? The main point that will be raised in the CAFC is: What is the definition of a "bus"? Remember, this case does not effect Rambus, only. This case will effect any company that asserts their IP in court.
