E, Sweetie! You and I both know each other's views right now so you should know I wasn't arguing with you! I never saw X's remark, nor do I read the FA thread, since I have stopped following most threads. I saw your post and because it mentioned AA, I read further. The ONLY issue I meant to address was that of the apparent onesidedness of the posted article, which I thought made it a bad example for addressing the valid concern about abuse of the new act. I have no idea whether Oden is on some list of suspicious people. Maybe she is, but she sounded as if she had a pretty high opinion of herself- probably higher than the gov't has of her and her importance. Her organzation was mentioned as "fringe" and a lot of times that means extremist-- maybe the list of extremist group leaders are ALL On lists now and frankly, that troubles me not at all. I just wanted to balance the impression that she had been treated unfairly by the airlines when it sounded as if she asked for it with her attitude. Again, though, I know nothing about her, or her group, and nothing at all beyond what I read this morning. No disagreement with youpersonally at all- I thought you were just posting an interesting article for discussion. That's it for me--- this is exactly why I DON'T read and post anymore. I apologize if somehow this came across like some personal confrontation; it certainly wasn't meant to.
