Tony, the thing with AMD's model number scheme is that they are still not accounting for IPC improvements in Intel chips. It would start looking pretty funny if they have Hammer 4300+ CPUs that get outperformed by Intel 4GHz CPUs. AMD better be sure they have a good idea what Intel is offering, or else they may want to be a little more conservative with respect to announcing future model numbers. At least this gives an idea where AMD expects Hammer performance to be relative to Palomino. wanna_bmw
