Tench, if hammer comes out at 2Ghz and performs like a 4Ghz Athlon that's tremendous. What do you think Intel will have out there that will even come close at the end of 2002? The 3Ghz Northwood definitely will not. At best it may have the performance of a 3Ghz Athlon since Intel is stuck with the performance of a 1.5Ghz Athlon right now. I 'll give them that they may be able to double the performance of their top-rated CPU in 12 months but they would have improve it by 175% to match the hammer. WOW. Constantine
