It's called "buy on the rumour, sell on the news". It doesn't matter really how good or bad the news is here.

did I miss a point where CC were below expectations - stock price dropped by $2.

Some expected an upgrade in guidance, but AMD left it as is (from Q3 CC).

I, at least, expected a much more positive view of the current PC Processor market than was handed out in the CC.

Additionally, Jerry looked 'worn out' to me.

But all told, my guess is that the board just hasn't repriced his options yet this year.

It is, after all, not yet Thanksgiving.

(But it irks me that I didn't but the puts I was looking at before the CC began.)

Most expectations (including mine) were probably too high. The technology and future plans sounded good but the near-term outlook is still disappointing.
