International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) jumped 4.20 to 114.19. No news.

Tape Action - Very Bullish. IBM extends it recent rally that began when it was 90 in September. The stock has been showing consistently good up tick volume. Today's strong showing signals good potential for it to move even higher.

Hewlett Packard Co. (HWP) moved up 2.90 to 19.80. Hewlett family with 100 million shares to vote against Compaq merger.

Tape Action - Very Bullish. HWP rises with very heavy volume of 34.7 million shares. Up tick volume is a powerful 3.3 million shares. The strong action indicates the stock can move much higher.

Intel Corp.(INTC) advanced 1.20 to 28.20. No news.

Tape Action - Modestly Bullish. INTC drives higher with good up tick volume of 1.8 million shares. The stock should move back into its prior trading range in the low 30s.
