Evidently, history of several years ago has been forgotten. I guess Jerry doesn't remember Cyrix? If AMD loses money on each chip, what do you think is going to happen if they outsource their production?????

Interesting reversal from the author of "Real Men have their own Fabs", and " Being Fabless will mean being chipless".

The writing is clear that AMD is reconsidering the failed Fabless model of Cyrix and NextGen, due to the soaring cost and risk of a new FAB
