I don't know the details other than what I posted but didn't it say 5000 were needed? The top end number of which you speak is probably just as you described, a political gesture to make postal workers feel safe. But the 5000 needed seems to me to be the alarming number. If true that is a mach larger number than what I thought was out there. Would you agree?

I'll echo Gloop's comments on the 5000, but I do agree with you about the misuse of antibiotics. Something that we Americans do too much anyway. Many parents will take there kids to the doctor and insist on antibiotics for the flu or a cold. Antibiotics don't work on viruses and using them when they aren't needed makes us more susceptable to future infections (not to mention the immediate affect of throwing our body out of kilter.....yeast infections, ick!).
