Unisys' e-business systems to be integrated with Viisage's face recognition technologies Oct 18, 2001 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- The US-based digital identification systems developer Viisage Technology Inc and the e-business solutions provider Unisys Corp have formed a global partnership to deliver end-to-end personal identification systems. Under the agreement Unisys can integrate Viisage's face recognition image capture system and other face recognition technologies with its own solutions for the government, transportation, financial services and other sectors. Unisys says that its goal is to provide systems which expand the options of its clients for building accurate and reliable identification capabilities into their operations in order to enhance security.
