>> they have it sooooo good that you would be willing to live in their stead for the rest of your life, right? NOT! this is the type of misleading misinformation that isn't good. <<

it's not an issue of whether or not they have it soooo good or not. the issue stems from the fact that they have an incentive to break the law and come to our country illegally because liberals give them handouts. don't dodge the issue; is what i said true or not?

>> this type of manipulation is wrong and there is an incentive to do it. <<

whoops! no need to answer my previous question in another post--you just admitted it. there are incentives for illegal immigrants to break the law and come to our country illegally.

>> a quick change in the law that doesn't make illegal alien children citizens should fix this <<

there are a lot of "quick fixes" that could make this country a better nation. easier said than done! a quick abolition of the 16th amendment would be a nice quick fix. obviously our society isn't prepared for many of these quick fixes. they would rather defend the rights of illegals who break the law in favor of surrendering their own liberties instead!

>> hmmmm... why aren't the republicrats pushing this through congress? <<

skeeter you keep trying to attach my support or alan keyes support to the republican party as if we speak on behalf of them. mr keyes and ,yself don't control what republicans do, we only speak for ourselves. stop trying to point out inconsistencies within the republican party and focus on the ideas.

>> why isn't bush waving this particular banner? <<

why don't you ask him? i would be making an assumption.

>> craig, perhaps it doesn't bother you that people, who are only guilty of choosing the wrong parents, would die in the streets w/o emergency services <<

there are children who are exploited all across the world. many more exploited than are free. are you suggesting that america throw it's borders wide open and say come stay with us we will take care of all of you?

>> maybe we can have all the pregnant illegal immigrants give birth in front of your house so you see those poor kids cry as many of them die. if you can't take the sight of what you support than maybe you are a punk "liberal." <<

you are letting your liberal mindset cloud reason and rationality. liberals are the party of good intentions but no results. it doesn't take any thought or reason to say that it's terrible for babies to die in the streets. it does take some reason to say we cannot succeed even if we choose to try to prevent things like that. it's too bad liberals believe that if they act like they care enough, things will somehow be better.

>> i'm not pissed about helping folks in need (hard working illegal, legal alien or citizen). <<

i don't have a problem with you helping people. that is your right to make that choice.

>> i'm proud america can do it <<

whoa! hold on there. here is where you run afoul. if you want to help illegals or whoever so be it. the problem arises when you try to FORCE me to do the same. shouldn't i be allowed to decide who i choose to help and who not to help? why should i be forced to help illegals just because you think it's the right thing to do?

>> i am pissed about the govt and others being so d* greedy and "inefficient." <<

the fact that the govt is so greedy, inefficient, and tyrannical is precisely the reason you should work to limit it's scope and power.

>> $1 for the poor, $10 for the good ole boy network (the one that wuvs "free markets! -ng-). i'm also pissed that the folks pocketing the $10 turning around and b* about the poor and down and out bankrupting the nation to deflect attention from themselves. <<

who is b*ing about the poor?

>> i'm pissed that so many folks regurgitate what they've been spoonfed w/o thinking it through. <<

for example?

>> i do think that a couple weeks of sweeping dead illegal alien babies off of your lawn might create a bit of compassion in you <<

compassion is a nice thing, but it doesn't accomplish a damn thing if it's not put to use in a constructive way. intentions are meaningless. results are what count. you can have all the good intentions in the world, but the only way to nmake a difference is to get results. the liberal intentions cause more harm than good.
