As repulsive as this thought might be, which company would you rather invest in, the producer of Canadian softwood, or the US producers of yellow pine ? Who stands to gain most from support by the state ? .. Isn't free enterprise great ? You say Weyerhauser is one of them with a foot in both camps. Who are the others and what has happened to their share prices in this debacle ? It seems clear that Yellow Pine is going to prove itself the superior product in our North American "free enterprise" market.
