Could be that CIEN is about to fess up to the revenue shortfall they're going to face when they report in Dec.

Remember that Q accounted for 25% of their business; and Q's cap-ex spending just dried up.

This little CC on Monday pre-market just might cast a bit of doubt on CSCO's pro-forma spin on their bottom line; not to mention JNPR and the rest of the networkers.

I think that the action the last two days on the NAZ was just the smart money shifting positions from long to short.

While I'm sure CIEN will spin the spin; the ST top is in, and CIEN may in fact be the straw that will break this leg of the market going into options expiration.

The max-pain in options calls will determine how the week goes; at this point the set up is going to hurt a bunch.
