Hi Larry and Nimbus, I know that everyone will relate to this story okay, but especially Cheeseheads: Last night Jane and I met good friends in Milwaukee for dinner and theater. This has been sort of a tradition of ours for decades. In our younger days we'd go to dinner first and then a play. As we aged we switched the order. The play was the "early show" and then we'd head out for a meal. This seemed to keep us from sleeping through the plays! Well, last night we dined at the Pfister Hotel. pfister-hotel.com (that's Jane and me in the Lobby) This is a grand, elegant old hotel that's stayed up with the times quite nicely. The meal was fabulous. However, I've been trying to figure out how they knew I was coming to the restaurant! The reservations weren't in our name, but our friends'. Yet there it was on the menu...... ROAST TENDERLOIN OF VEAL WITH SPINACH VEGETABLE MEDLEY STEAMED IN VEAL STOCK REDUCTION....... Now how did they know I was going to be roasted by my friends...... and who told them about the last 18 months of my portfolio performance (veale stock reduction!)????? :-) Tom PS: Good to see you're still with us LG. Any chance you'll be passing near Port W. any time in the near future?
