Don't look at the Saudi gold info with too much bias, even tho' in this enlightened era of just who the Saudi's are and their fanatical religious practices, let alone NOT helping a whole helluvalot in the war on terrorism, I'm sure not going to defend them. I'd just like to make a note of a couple things that reading your comment brought to my mind.. 1) Every mineralized area map I've ever seen has clearly shown a definite kidney bean shaped area on the Saudi pennisula which has always indicated gold's presence over there for the last several decades' worth of mineralized maps.. But here's the REAL kicker for me. 2) If you recall, in the earlier days of gold exploration in this nation as well as globally, ARCO, SOHO, MOBIL, etc were the primary OWNERS of gold mineral rights wherever they poked the proverbial straw in the ground for oil. It was as natural for them to discover AND develop gold properties as it was to delineate oil patches. Here's what I'm going to be watching for...since the Saudi's demanded that our capitalistic Oil Companies give up OUR negotiated and contractual property rights and majority control to the Saudi oilfields and refineries which we discovered and we built, I'm going to be watching to see if we make the "same mistake twice" especially in this day and time and tell them what our oil companies knew and did/could do for their goldfields which undoubtedly we also discovered and should by all rights have access to. Sure hope we aren't STUPID capitalists and give away the ranch TWICE by forking over the gold info, like we were snookered into doing with the oil info and resulting multiplied millions and millions of dollars pissed into the wind by our oil companies.
