It seems to me that Yahoo and Raging Bull have been growing in poster content this year.

Maybe we are looking at different threads, but on the infrequent occasions I have visited either board I find the same dearth of content this year as in past years. The number of posts may be up, but the lack of content in them remains (versions of LOAD UP-THIS PUPPY'S GOIN' TO THE MOON! and THIS POS WILL BE BK BY EOM! seem to be the most popular posts, often alternating hundreds of times a day on the same thread). I have started to visit Lightreading on a regular basis, where the ability to comment on their articles often creates the sort of informed spirited debate which used to be so common here. Hypsters trying to start unfounded rumors are quickly put in their place by people in the know (like used to happen here), and it is free from spam (like here). They cover only a small and focused portion of the company universe, however.
