Sorry Sidney, I was under the assumption that the tribulation started just after the covenant was confirmed. (I'm looking now for the reason I assumed this.)

He'll be like a thief in the night, as in unexpected by everyone who is not looking for Him.

If He comes just before the wrath of God, won't there be a lot of people looking?

I read your earlier post about God "figuring" out how He would separate the wheat from the chaff from billions of people all at once. I think it would be simple for Him to do. He does afterall, hear the thoughts and prayers of those same billions every second of every day.

Do you think that believers of a pretrib rapture are in some sort of danger of being deceived? Some sort of "false rapture" scenario?

This is an interesting topic. Thanks for the discussion Sidney.

Have a good one.
