Islamic Jihad activist arrested in early November
It was released for publication on Monday that in early November, Israel security forces arrested Islamic Jihad activist Baha Yusuf Matsarawa, 21, from the Nur-Shams refugee camp, near Tul Karm.

The Shin Bet security service said that Matsarawa, who was a member of Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Force 17, admitted that he had been recruited to the Islamic Jihad while serving in the presidential guard. Matsarawa also admitted that he took direct orders from the head of Islamic Jihad's military wing in Tul Karm, Assad Daka, who the IDF killed one month ago.

The Shin Bet stated that Matsarawa admitted taking part in a number of terror attacks. Matsarawa admitted to placing an explosive device in a Netanya market that was detonated by police sappers. He planted an additional explosive device in Netanya that detonated near the Ort school, which wounded eight people, and he made several other attempts at carrying out additional terror attacks against Jews and the IDF.
