HardOCP site specifically said these were not working samples.

Anyway, it seems that AMD is going back and forth with the packaging design. One thing that is clear is that there is no integrated heat spreader.

Also, didn't AMD mention that the first Thoroughbreds will be mobile, and in addition to standard Socket A package, AMD will have smaller one for smaller notebooks? I guess since the picture is of a standard Socket A chip, the chips in smaller form factors will follow later (and miss some opportunities AMD will have in mobile space?)
